Aurelia Wave

The newest instalment in the Aurelia series from Nuova Simonelli, the Aurelia Wave, has been updated to reduce energy consumption and allow for even greater flexibility than ever before. Ideal for customers demanding high performance and reliable operation combined with the latest technological innovations available in a range of model options, the Wave still has all of the features you would expect from Simonelli including: soft infusion system, steam & brew area LED work lights, powerful steam with simple push-pull controls & cool-touch wands, steam tips ideal for micro-foaming, programmable back-flushing, adjustable hot water temperature & external pump pressure adjustment. Available in 4 versions with optional EasyCream automatic steam wand available on all models, except Semi-Automatic versions.

Aurelia Wave Semi-Automatic

The base version, the Semi-Automatic is a work horse that can keep up with higher volumes but depends more on the skill and attention of the barista to monitor shot lengths for every cup. With this model a separate timer or scale would be recommended for consistency.

Recommended for: medium to high volume locations, high quality coffee shops, specialty coffee shops, demanding professionals, barista competitors, all with more of a constrained budget or a preference for more basic operations and controls or remote locations out of the range of regular service providers

Aurelia Wave Volumetric

This version allows the barista to program 4 espresso shot volumes per group, allowing for much more consistent volume every time. Shots are not only more consistent between different users, there is also more time for the barista to interact with customers or begin another order since there is no need to monitor the espresso as carefully. The new addition of an LCD display also gives the barista more control over machine functions including drink shot timers (eliminating the need for external timers), 3 programmable hot water dosages, maintenance features and reminders, on/off times, and drink counters.

Aurelia Wave Digit

The Digit adds newly patented features to the Volumetric platform including: Auto-Purge groups along with a PID to easily control and adjust overall steam pressure in the main boiler. All these features are easily controlled through a Touchscreen display that gives access to all programming options: espresso shot dosages, boiler pressure (PID), maintenance features, on/off times, and drink counters. The HD display also times all independent shots simultaneously eliminating the need for external timers.

Aurelia Wave T3

The T3 builds off of the Digit platform but with a multi-boiler design (3 for the 2-group version and 4 for the 3-group version) giving the barista ultimate control of water temperature throughout the machine. T3 technology allows complete control over the pressure of the primary steam/hot-water boiler, the temperature of each brew-group boiler, and also at each group. In this way, the temperature can be precisely controlled independent of each group/coffee boiler and independent of the main boiler. The T3 also includes newly patented Pulse-Jet Technology to manage and adjust flow-rate & water pressure to add even more flexibility and profiling options for espresso shots.

Steam Wands

i) The Aurelia Wave volumetric, Digit & T3 (not T3 Semi-Automatic) can be purchased with 1 right side automatic steam wand with 2-buttons (additional charge applies).

ii) The EasyCream Automatic Micro-Foaming System replaces the manual steam handle with a button. Once pressed, the modified wand steams the milk while monitoring the temperature with an integrated probe, so it knows:

➡️ When to start & stop injecting air for perfect microfoam, and

➡️ When to stop steaming for standardized milk temperature.

EasyCream requires no input from the barista to perfectly texture the milk; the barista simply places the wand in the pitcher of cold milk and when it reaches the desired (programmed) temperature the steam automatically turns off, leading to a consistent drink, regardless of the skill-level of the barista.
