Alex Leva PID

Izzo Alex Leva PID incorporates a commercial lever group allowing the user to make bar quality espresso at home with soft pre-infusion: lowering the lever locks it into place allowing the water to gently saturate the brew group & coffee puck beginning the infusion cycle; then after raising the lever, a commercial spring takes over, slowly & silently pulling the shot hands-free, delivering a beautiful rich and creamy espresso.

Although the Leva requires a direct water-line, this allows you to exercise a soft-infusion method while the espresso is delivered. A digital P.I.D. allows you to adjust steam pressure and brew temperature to your liking; and the commercial sized 5 litre boiler allows for instant boiling water for tea or Americanos, while the cool-touch steam wand delivers powerful & simultaneous steam.

Utilizing industrial components and a retro steam-activated cup-warmer, the Alex Leva gives you the ultimate manual control over your experience. It is a genuine throwback to the origins of espresso where the aim was to deliver the most crema in the cup.
